Kiss Me Kosher (directed by Shirel Peleg): During a stay in Israel, German biologist Maria Müller falls in love with Israeli bar owner Shira Shalev. When the two want to marry, Shira’s Jewish grandmother Berta is anything but enthusiastic. For her, a marriage between an Israeli and a German is an impossibility. Nevertheless, wedding preparations are in full swing. Meanwhile, Berta is secretly seeing her Palestinian lover Ibrahim.
