DIRECTOR’S WORKSHOP
Topic: Interactive, shot-by-shot analysis and critique of local short films by two nationally recognized names in the industry. Three features and three documentaries will be deconstructed on each aspect filmmaking.

WORKSHOP: NO BUDGET, NO PROBLEM – AN OVERVIEW OF NO BUDGET FILMMAKING
Topic: Producer Mark Stolaroff, who worked with directors Chris Nolan and Joe Carnahan on their no-budget first features, examines the current state of no-budget filmmaking. Case studies of three successful, but rarely-seen no-budget films will be used to illustrate the innovative techniques used, the aesthetic results obtained, and the empowering opportunities available to independent filmmakers.
